Aloha everyone! My name is Ava Faria and I am your Miss Swim Week 2022. It was truly an honor to be awarded with this title!
As a Miss Bikini National Title Winner, you area inspiration to thousands of young women everywhere. How did you feel when you won? Tell us a bit about the experience.
Not only was I able to walk with the Miss Bikini 2022 Miami swim week event, but I also got casted with the Society for another Miami Swim Week event as well! As a young girl I’ve always watched these shows, and to be walking in it is a dream come true. I loved being able to meet designers from all around the world and showcase their designs on the runway.

Who or what inspired you to get started in modeling?
My friends and family have always encouraged me to get into modeling and once I did, I couldn’t stop ! Modeling lets you embrace your natural beauty and become more confident in your own skin.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I first began my modeling career in Honolulu, Hawaii. I connected and worked with local brands such as Mayjah Leauge Hawaii, Hot Hawaii Styles, and more! From there I entered myself into pageantry with Miss Bikini Hawaii and worked my way up to Miss Bikini US! Shortly after that I was walking in Miami Swim week, then New York Fashion Week, and LA fashion week! It has been an amazing rollercoaster of events!

What is your best fitness tip?
As for fitness tips, I would advise you to find yourself a workout routine that best fits you and your body goals. Set goals often for yourself and be consistent with your routine! As we all know, results only come with consistency.
What are the beauty products you can’t live without?
A few beauty products that I absolutely can’t live without is my daily CeraVe face moisturizer with SPF! As well as my Aquaphor lip balm and CeraVe Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Control Gel to prevent any breakouts and give my skin a gentle exfoliation. These are the products that are in my everyday skin care routine. A skincare routine is necessary for all ages as it regenerates your skin cell production!
What is your personal style?
As for my style, I am a local island girl who will almost always have a pua (flower) in my hair! I love to keep a simple look and accessorize with gold jewelry. One of my favorite outfits include a skims long dress, layered necklaces and rings, along with a gold waist chain from Ocean Creations!

What is one of the most interesting shoots that you have done?
One of the most interesting shoots that I’ve ever done was with a great photographer, Brad Bransford (@hi_life_images). For this shoot we aimed for an editorial look. I was bending backwards, laying upside down, and jumping just to get the shot! Safe to say it was worth it all!
What is something you like about the Miss Bikini system?
My favorite aspect of Miss Bikini US is that the production does not discriminate. They take in girls regardless of their height, size, or tattoos! All is welcome!
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time ?
During my free time I love to do some self care and reset. I’ll do a face mask and hair mask, make some popcorn and watch a movie. After a stressful week, this is highly recommended.
What is the most interesting place you have ever visited?
As a young woman I’ve had the advantage of traveling to various places such as New Orleans, San Francisco, New York, Tahoe, and more! I am truly grateful to have been able to see so many great places in the world. However I would have to say Tahoe was my favorite especially during the winter time. People were making ice sculptures on the side of the road, snowflakes were dropping into my hair, and I even learned how to snowboard!
